We made a visual observation of the existing roof trusses that had been damaged. The damage appeared to be due to downward wind and uplift forces due to wind. We wrote a letter for the church stating what we found as well as recommendations on how to repair.
We also design new construction for churches, whether it’s additions such as family life centers, multi-purpose buildings, educational buildings, and/or new sanctuaries.
I designed the sanctuary shown above when I was with GW Design Group, LLC as a junior engineer. This project consisted of a sanctuary, a matching multi-purpose building, and an education building.
